Ever had one of those times where you couldn't come up with an idea for a project? I'm in one of those times right now! It can be frustrating, but I've learned that when those times come to open up my catalog (or a magazine, or blog entry, etc) and find an idea that I can make my own.
That's what I did today. Page 3 of the new catalog has a number of cards made using different color combinations. It's a great way to show how all Stampin' Up! products coordinate. Well, I had most of the products needed to make the card, but not quite all of them so I substituted with what I had.
That's the first part of "casing". I substituted with a different background stamp. The En Francais is a little busier, but I think it works. I also didn't have any current color buttons (and the new in-colors don't have buttons, but boutique details embellishments of which I also don't have), so I made a button out of cardstock using the Sweet Buttons Embosslits for the Sizzix Big-Shot.
Give casing a try. And, if you do, share a picture of it with me and I'll post it!
Thanks again for stopping by.
