More Christmas in August

I've been having so much fun playing with the early release bundle, Carols of Christmas by Stampin' Up!  On this card, I used one of the card front Thinlits to cut out the starry night sky.  It really was the coordinating Thinlits that won me over on this bundle!

This simple card has just a few simple elements.  The die-cut Night of Navy layered onto a piece of Daffodil Delight.  Both layers are placed onto a Whisper White Thick card base.  The large circle was cut using the largest die from the Layering Circles Framelits dies from a piece of Whisper White card stock that had been textured using the Softly Falling TIEF (textured impressions embossing folder).  Wow!  That's a mouth-full.

The tree was cut from Garden Green card stock, and the deer stamped in Early Espresso and cut out.  Both were cut out using the coordinating Thinlits die set.

I needed a small Christmas greeting to add to the front, and Teeny Tiny Wishes came to my rescue.  It was stamped onto Daffodil Delight card stock and then punched out using the Classic Label punch.

Hope you enjoy today's card.  Head on over to my online store to pick it up your own bundle today!

This card was one I designed somewhat by chance.  The ornaments I stamped and heat-embossed yesterday while playing with this set, but I just didn't like what I was getting.  Today, with fresh eyes, this is what I came up with.  I like the faint music stamped behind the greeting.  I hope you like it too!
