Elegant Easter

While blog surfing awhile back, I came across this card layout (can't remember now what blog I was visiting) and thought it would look great with the Sending Love Specialty DSP from the Occasions mini catalog, and the Beautiful Wings Embosslits die for the Sizzix Big-Shot, also from the Occasions mini. I used the Circle Scissor Plus to cut the circle out of the designer paper. The butterflies are cut from Pretty In Pink card stock. Happy Easter was stamped from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set onto Very Vanilla card stock and punched using the Modern Label punch. The final touch was spritzing over the finished card using a mixture of Frost White Shimmer paint and liquid hand sanitizer. Thanks for stopping by.

Anyway, using the gum-ball machine stamp works very well. And although the card still took a decent amount of time to make, it was a big hit. Here is the card from the inside, so you can see that when you turn the "wheel", the M&M's can fall out without tearing the card apart. Supplies include: Stamp set: Something Sweet, Teeny Tiny Wishes Ink: Real Red, Brilliant Blue Classic inks Paper: Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Yo Yo Yellow, Whisper White Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Sweet Treat Cups, 1-3/4" Circle punch, Gold Brad, 1/2...
