Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder Techniques

 Do you ever need a quick, but 'wow' kind of card? When don't you, would be my response!

That was the inspiration for this weeks card and video tutorial.

The Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder is part of the next round of Online Exclusive products that will be available for purchase beginning July 1st. This huge embossing folder creates an intricate and detailed 'image' perfect for simple to elaborate projects. Since I'm more of a simple project kind of gal, that's the direction I went with.

Here are the measurements:

Crumb Cake (card base) cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", 2 1/2" x 3/4"

Mossy Meadow (layer) cardstock: 5" x 3 3/4"

Crushed Curry (focal) cardstock: 4 3/4" x 4")

#SU! Simple Easel Fold Calendar

Each year I like to create and send a hand-stamped calendar to each of those on my Little Inkers team (those who've signed-up under me within Stampin' Up!). This year, I used a fun-fold I found from Tricia Butts, a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator. You can see her blog post here. 

Here is what those calendars looked like:

With everything going on around the Christmas holiday (family visiting and other activities), I haven't spend much time in my stamping space. Maybe you can relate?

However, with the New Year approaching quickly I'm hoping to be back in a regular routine of creating. 

I recorded a video tutorial of a variation on this calendar, and I hope you'll check it out. Perhaps one of these will spark your own creativity.

Here are the project measurements:

Granny Apple Green cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Basic White cardstock: 2-1/2" x 3-1/4"; 2" x 3"; scraps for cloud die
Pool Party cardstock: (if using the pond water) scrap measuring about 2" x 3"
Mango Melody cardstock: (if using the sunset) scrap about 2-3/4" square
Old Olive cardstock: (for the grass) scrap about 1" x 2"
