#SU! Hippest Hippos Bay Window Card

I just love fun fold cards! More than making them, I love to see the recipients reaction when they open them. What about you? Well, I hadn't yet tried the Bay Window fun fold. Not sure exactly why. Maybe I thought it was too complicated, but in any case this was my first try at it.  Oh my! How simple it truly is! Here is the tutorial video showing step-by-step how easy this is: Here are the measurements: Night of Navy: 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2", 5-7/8", 7-3/8", 9-1/8" & 10-5/8" along the 11" side; scrap piece that measures at least 1/2" x 3" Rings of Love Designer Series Paper: 4" x 6-1/2", then trim along the 6-1/2" so that you have 6 pieces that are all 4" long. 2 pieces that are 1/4" x 4", 2 pieces that are 1-1/4" x 4", one piece that is 1-1/2" x 4", and one piece that is 2" x 4". Basic White: 4" x 2-7/8"; 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" (for largest ...

#SU! Perched In A Tree Card

When the new 2022 July-December Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up! came out, I was instantly drawn to the Perched In A Tree bundle. I seem to be always drawn to the bird sets because my mom was so fond of birds. However, it was also because of the gorgeous die set that accompanies it. I can see so many uses for that aspen/birch die. I participate in a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator's team swaps each month, Kathy Howes of Be Creative with Kathy , and this was my swap back in June. Here is the video I put together showing how I put this card together. I hope you'll check it out: Measurements: Pool Party Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"; 1" x 3-1/4" Kraft Paper Pack: 4" x 5-1/4", cut using the tree die Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" (for the inside) Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Soft Sea Foam Cardstock: 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Pa...

#SU! Z-Fold Hippest Hippos Card

The Z-Fold is by far my favorite fun fold to make. It's easy, and uses basic measurements and supplies! It also fits well into a regular-size envelope requiring no extra postage. A win-win in my book! The Hippest Hippos Stamp set (see below) is a great set that is available while supplies last with any $50 purchase (before shipping & tax) of Stampin' Up! products between July 1 and August 31st.  The Hippo Die set (seen below) coordinates with the Hippest Hippos stamp set, that is also available while supplies last with any $50 purchase (before shipping & tax) of Stampin' Up! products between July 1 and August 31st. Don't wait to get your own! In addition to the Hippest Hippos and Hippo Dies, I also used the Scallop Contour Dies: These scallop frames are a go-to frequently. Be sure to watch my video with assembly tips and tricks. Remember that you can purchase anything you see on these projects by clicking onto the photos at the end of this post. Thanks again for...
