Versatile Roller Wheels

This last month, I focused on Thanksgiving and thankfulness for the theme at my stamp clubs. Below is one of the cards we made. It uses the Jumbo Stampin' Around wheel, Bright Blessings (#115626, $8.50). I stamped it onto Naturals Ivory card stock using Early Espresso ink. Then, ran the stamped piece through the Big-Shot using the Texture Plates Kit #4 (the woodgrain one of the 3). To give the piece a more aged look, I sponged some Crumb Cake ink over the raised image. To finish it off, I tore a piece of Early Espresso card stock followed by a piece of Crumb Cake card stock, and layered the stamped image on top. Then, tied a piece of 1/8" Early Espresso taffeta ribbon and finally added a "Happy Thanksgiving" message from the stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes (#115370, $36.95) by cutting piece of card stock into a pennat and attaching it with a 1/16" hole punch and some linen thread. This all went onto a Marina Mist card. So, now I'm thinking Christmas idea...

Give Thanks

In getting a moment to do some stamping, I came up with this card that would be perfect for a Thanksgiving card. The card base is Old Olive card stock. The jumbo Stampin' Around Wheel, Bright Blessings (115626 $8.50), was used to wheel across the center of the card stock using Old Olive Classic ink. I had also wheeled across a piece of Very Vanilla card stock with the same wheel, only taking the time to ink up different sections of the wheel with the Many Marvelous Markers (More Mustard, Ruby Red, Really Rust, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie colors) before rolling it across the card stock. This piece I then punched using the Scallop Circle punch and attached to the Ruby Red scallop with Stampin' Dimensionals. The Ruby Red scallop behind it was made using the Scallop #2 die cut for the Sizzix Big Shot. The "In every thing give THANKS" tag was made from wheeling Old Olive ink across Very Vanilla card stock, and then punching it out with the Modern Label punch. This is atta...
