Day 13 Christmas Post

For today's post, I'm sharing another card. This card uses the stamp set Delightful Decorations. The ornament image is stamped onto Confetti White card stock in VersaMark ink. Heat & Stick powder is then applied over the ink and heated with the heat tool. While the powder is still hot, Rose Pink Fine Cosmo glitter was applied and heated once more with the heat tool. After a few seconds, I punched it out with the coordinating Ornament punch.

The base of the card is Old Olive card stock. The trim at the top is made with a strip of Confetti White card stock and the Eyelet border punch. A piece of 1/2" Old Olive striped ribbon is tied around the center of the trim. Draw a line down from the center of trim using a Signo White Gel pen, and attach the punched ornament over it and to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by.

Day 9 Christmas Post

Today I'm sharing with you a four section gift box that is filled with Christmas gift tags. The tags are made using the Delightful Decorations stamp set and the matching Ornament punch. To make attaching these tags easy, I stamped them first onto Whisper White card stock (colors used are Old Olive, Rich Razzelberry, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede), then ran them through a sticker machine with the permanent adhesive inserted, then punched out the ornament tags.

The box is a pattern shared by Stampin' Up! to their demonstrators and made using Soft Suede card stock. I added a sleeve made from the Snowfall printed window sheets to slide the box into. It's then finished off with a Soft Suede Polka-Dot ribbon and a small tag tied with crochet thread.

Thanks for stopping by!

Day 7 Christmas Post

Continuing with my 25 days of Christmas, here is today's post.

Card closed (this is what you see on the front).

Card opened up.

This card is called a tri-shutter card, and I've been wanting to try one for awhile now. This seemed like a great time to do that.

The stamps used are Delightful Decorations (from the Holiday Mini Catalog) and Christmas Punch (a level 2 hostess set). The base of the card uses Sahara Sand card stock, and the Designer Series paper is Holiday Lounge. The ornaments were stamped onto Ruby Red card stock using VersaMark ink and embossed. Two were embossed using Iridescent Ice embossing powder, and two embossed using gold embossing powder. They were then punched out using the matching Ornament punch. Two are "hung" using gold elastic cord and finished at the top with Kraft taffeta ribbon.

The "A merry little Christmas to you" was stamped onto Whisper White card stock with VersaMark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. It was then cut out and layered onto a piece of Ruby Red card stock that was punched using the Wide Oval punch.

I hope you come back tomorrow to see the next project! Let me know what you are thinking about my 25 days of Christmas.
