#SU! Penguin Place Z-fold w/Gift Card Pocket

 

Sometimes you stumble upon a great idea. That's how I would describe how I came upon this idea for a Z-fold card with a gift card pocket hidden inside. 

And, if you are going to share this great idea why not use new products! So, I pulled out the Penguin Place Bundle. It'll be available beginning August 3rd for everyone to order, but Stampin' Up! Demonstrators have been able to purchase it since the beginning of July. Just one of the many perks of being a demonstrator! Here are the measurements for this fun card:

Misty Moonlight cardstock: 4-1/4"x11", scored horizontally at 2-3/4" & 5-1/2"

Fresh Freesia cardstock: 3-1/4"x3-1/2"

Basic White cardstock: 3"x3-1/4" (2 pieces, one for the front & one for the inside)

Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper (this is a Sale-a-Bration item available with a $50 order before shipping & tax): 3 different patterns (could use the same) 

Polka-dot pattern: 4"x5-1/4"

Stripe pattern: 2-1/2"x4"

Fresh Freesia Snowflakes: 2-5/8"x2-1/2"

Peek-a-Boo Z-Fold Dragonfly Card

 I was privileged once again to participate in another swap this month. Swapping gives me great ideas that I can then share with all of you! Here is the card I made:

From the front, it looks like just a simple card. This layout is a great way to use that Designer Series Paper that you've been hoarding! 

But, this is how the card opens up, and what a 'wow' it is:

The inside opens in Z-fold fashion! Don't miss the step-by-step video below.

Measurements: 

Basic White Thick cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", and scored along the 8-1/2" side at 4-1/4"

Basic White cardstock: 3" x 4-1/4"

Misty Moonlight cardstock: 5-1/4" x 8", and scored along the 8" side at 2" & 4"

Dandy Garden 6"x6" DSP: 1 sheet (cut to 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"; leftover piece, cut down to 5-1/8" long (should be 1-7/8" wide); cut the 3rd largest circle from the Layering Circles Dies from a coordinating scrap
