#SU! Slimline Charlie Brown Christmas Tree Card

 If you are ever struggling to come up with an idea for a stamping project, the solution is as close as your nearest Stampin' Up! catalog. That's right. Casing (copying and sharing) is a great way to come up with ideas, and any Stampin' Up! publication is loaded with ideas ready to be cased.

For this card idea, I used the project created by Stampin' Up! artists on page 56 of the July-December Mini Catalog. 

The Trick or Treat card was my inspiration.

Here are the measurements for this card:

Pool Party cardstock: 7" x 8-1/2", scored at 3-1/2" along the 7" side; 1/4" x 5"

Basic White cardstock: 1-1/4" x 1-3/4"; 3-1/4" x 8-1/4"

Sweetest Christmas 12" x 12" DSP: 3" x 8"; 2 pieces, different prints: 1/4" x 5"

Real Red cardstock: 1-3/4" x 3-1/4"

Real Red & White 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper: 1/4" x 5"

Real Red & Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon Pack: 7" for fork-bow

#SU! Simple Trees 4 Sale Card

When I first saw the new 2022 July-December Mini Catalog, I instantly was drawn to the Trees For Sale stamp set as well as the coordinating dies, Tree Lot Dies from the July-August Sale-a-Bration brochure. I've seen quite a few samples made that use a lot of the coordinating dies, but not so many using mostly the stamp set. 

The soft color palette of Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen pair well with the softer red of Poppy Parade. A subtle background seemed appropriate, so adding the Whimsical Woodland 3D folder works well.

I thought a decorated tree on the inside also worked well. 

Here are the measurements for the card:

Basic White Thick: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" & scored @ 4-1/4" 

Basic White: 2-5/8" x 4" (2); 5/8" x 3-3/4"

Soft Succulent: 4" x 5-1/4"

Poppy Parade: 2-3/4" x 4-1/8"

Crumb Cake: 1" x 1-1/2"

#SU! Whimsical Trees Easel Card Tutorial

When I first saw the Whimsical Trees bundle in the July-December Mini Catalog, I knew I wanted to play with these adorable stamps and coordinating dies! 

I admit that I'm a bit sad that Stampin' Up! didn't decide to keep this stamp set and coordinating die set around a bit longer. The paper (as I'd wondered in the tutorial video below) has sold out. Too bad as it was a nice alternative to the traditional colors we so often think of at Christmas. However, there are so many beautiful designer series paper options to choose from.

There's just enough room to write a little note in the Basic White portion of this card.

Blushing Bride cardstock: 4-1/4" x 11", scored @ 2-3/4" & 5-1/2"

Misty Moonlight cardstock: 4" x 2-1/8"; 2-3/8" x 1-1/8"

Basic White cardstock: 2-1/2" x 4"; 2" x 3-7/8"; 2-1/4" x 1" & a scrap large enough for a 3/4" circle punch

Designer Series Paper: 2 designs, design #1- 2-1/2" x 4"; design #2- 4" x 5-1/4"

Silver Foil Paper: scrap measuring 3-3/4" x 1-3/4"
