#Simple Stamping SU! Heartfelt Wishes

When it gets to be this part of December, I begin to look for simple projects to put together in a hurry! Do you find yourself in the same place? If so, then this simple layout that requires only the most basic of supplies just might be what you need. The Heartfelt Wishes stamp set is available through January 3rd (or while supplies last). Featured in the July-December Mini catalog, it has beautifully scripted words that make any card elegant! Just look at some of the possibilities: See how simply you can create different looks with the same layout by only changing the Designer Series Papers and colors of cardstock that you use? I hope I've inspired you to go and create! And, if you don't have a demonstrator and have yet to purchase this great stamp set you can do so quickly through my online store by just clicking on the image of the products listed below. Thanks so much! Here is a quick video showing you the step-by-step instructions: Measurements: Misty Moonlight Cardstock (...

#SU! Whimsical Trees Easel Card Tutorial

When I first saw the Whimsical Trees bundle in the July-December Mini Catalog, I knew I wanted to play with these adorable stamps and coordinating dies!  I admit that I'm a bit sad that Stampin' Up! didn't decide to keep this stamp set and coordinating die set around a bit longer. The paper (as I'd wondered in the tutorial video below) has sold out. Too bad as it was a nice alternative to the traditional colors we so often think of at Christmas. However, there are so many beautiful designer series paper options to choose from. There's just enough room to write a little note in the Basic White portion of this card.  Here are the measurements as promised: Blushing Bride cardstock: 4-1/4" x 11", scored @ 2-3/4" & 5-1/2" Misty Moonlight cardstock: 4" x 2-1/8"; 2-3/8" x 1-1/8" Basic White cardstock: 2-1/2" x 4"; 2" x 3-7/8"; 2-1/4" x 1" & a scrap large enough for a 3/4" circle punch Design...

#SU! Sneak-Peek Love & Happiness Book Binding Card Tutorial

Wow! It's been a crazy few weeks. So glad to have had the Thanksgiving break and time spent with family. Always good to get re-set with the right priorities. The card I'm sharing today came about because I joined a card swap with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators in my area. Always good for me to jump start some creativity. Because I had new products from the upcoming January-June Mini catalog, I wanted to use them. The Love & Happiness Bundle [#157642] was my first choice because it's not just a Valentine's Day stamp set. So many possibilities for wedding, anniversary, I love you cards and of course, Valentine's Day too. I'd not jumped in with the hybrid-embossing folder craze that Stampin' Up! introduced earlier this year. You can find them in the annual catalog on page 157, and on page 43 of the July-December Mini catalog too.  But, oh my! I'm so very tempted to purchase both now that I've used this bundle!   The book-binding technique was ...
