Another Simple Fancy-Fold Card

I'm excited to share with you today another simple fancy-fold card idea.  I happened to see this idea on fellow demonstrator, Patty Bennett's blog.   She had done some creative stamping on the center panel, however I thought this layout was a great way to use that beautiful designer series paper that so many of us have in our stashes!  At the end of this post, you can view a quick video that I put together showing how quick and easy this card is to put together! This was the first card I came up with.  It uses the Woven Threads DSP, and the coordinating stamp set, Woven Heirlooms.  While this stamp set will be staying around, the coordinating DSP will not be. After having made the above card, I decided to see what other DSP's I had (and hadn't yet used!), and decided upon the Dinoroar DSP.  The Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set pairs with it quite well. Here are the measurements that I used: Pretty Peacock cardstock: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"...

Timeless Tropical Card Suite

I recently had my SU! team participate in a swap.  I love getting cards in the mail, and getting swap cards in the mail means that I get inspiration!  For a stamper there isn't much better. These cards were inspired by one of the swaps I'd received: They all use the same layout, but as you can see you get a different look by changing out the stamps and embossing folders. Dimensions for the cards are as follows: Card base - 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" along the 8-1/2" side; from the same card stock color a piece cut 5" x 3-3/4" Basic Black card stock - 5-1/8" x 3-7/8"; 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" Whisper White card stock - 4" x 5-1/4"; 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" Vellum card stock - 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" A list of the supplies is below, and you can follow the video link to see how I put these all together.   If you purchase the Timeless Tropical Bundle from me, I'll send you this card...

Simple Scrap Cards

Sharing with you today some simple scrap cards. I first made this one for my team swap. When I'm stumped for a card idea, I often go to card layouts whether from the catalog, pinterest, or to blogs like MojoMonday.  This layout came from  http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2016/04/mojo-monday-444.html It was so easy that I decided to use it as one of the project for my stamp club in May.  If you are a paper crafter or stamper, you like me probably have a huge stash of designer paper.  I always fall in love with the paper!  And, I find it hard to let it go.  You could make 54 of these cards (using different patterns of course) with just one package of 12x12-inch designer series paper!  Wow! For this card I used the Best Dressed designer series paper.  Because this is a 6"x6" paper stack, you won't get as many cards with this design, but you still would get a lot!   This card would be perfect for those younger...
