Christmas Tags Day 7

For today's Christmas tag post, I'm sharing some cute little tags we made at my adopted upline's meeting back in October.  These are quick tags to make and look so adorable on a gift.

Thanks Terry for such a great project!

Happy Stamping!
And, Merry Christmas.  I likely won't be posting again until after Christmas....but, you never know!

Christmas Tags Day 6

Don't you love all the details for today's tag?

Donna Rolston designed this beautiful tag.  Everything from the cut gingerbread house to the glittery snow-capped roof and candy accents invites you to come take a bite!

Once again, don't miss out on the 10% discount on the bundle.  The stamp set and coordinating framelits will still be around after the 3rd of January, but not on discount.

Christmas Tags Day 5

Oh, what fun.....

It is to stamp!  I know you were thinking of something else to finish that phrase, weren't you?

Today's tag was designed by Sue Amentler (she hand-wrote her name, so I'm not absolutely sure of the last name.  Sue, if you see this and I'm incorrect please let me know!).

I like how Sue used the reindeer punch to make the legs!  This stamp set and coordinating punch will not be retiring, but the bundle will be.  So if you haven't gotten it yet, don't miss out on the 10% discount when you buy the bundle.

Happy stamping!
Hope to see you tomorrow for another great tag!

Christmas Tags Day 4

Here is the tag for today!

Today's tag was designed by Eva M Davalos.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the candy cane is embossed using the Real Red Glitter embossing powder.  The sparkle is amazing!  Wouldn't you love to see this gift tag hanging on your gift?  I know I would.

Happy stamping!  Hope you'll stop by tomorrow to see another great tag.

Christmas Tags Day 3

This adorable Christmas tag was designed by Barbara Hussey.  I love all the details she included!
It would make the perfect addition to your Christmas gift, don't you think?

Although this stamp set and framelit will be carrying over, the bundle (which saves you 10%) will not be available after January 3rd.

Happy stamping!

Check back tomorrow for another great tag!

Christmas Tags Day 1

When I attended Stampin' Up!'s Onstage back in November, I participated in an over-the-top tag swap.  From that swap, I received some pretty amazing Christmas tags.  I plan to share them with you here each day until Christmas!

Here is the first tag I'm sharing:

This tag was made by fellow demonstrator, Ingrid Weaver.  Hope that it inspires you to go and make a few tags for your Christmas gifts!

Check back tomorrow for another wonderful tag.

November Stamping

It's been a bit crazy at our house with planning a major house remodel project.  I should also mention that it's difficult to think about stamping (especially Christmas cards) when the weather was in the 70's and even 80 through this past Wednesday!

Here are the cards we made this past Monday at my hostess stamp club:

Love, love this Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder!  Swirly Scribbles (the framelits that coordinate with the Swirly Bird stamp set) make great wreath shapes too.

I've received a couple different swaps using a similar layout to this one.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the "swirly" snowman is cut using Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.

Finally had a chance to play with the Here's to Cheers Bundle from the Holiday Catalog.  So fast, easy and elegant!  Great to attach to all those holiday treats!

Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Stamping!

Oh me, oh my!

Oh me, oh my!  I did not realize that it's been so very long since I've posted onto my blog!  The last few months I've been in a bit of a funk.  Have you ever been in a funk?  Probably.  My funk has completely affected my creativity.  Hoping it ends real soon!

I have been busy and holding classes.  Here are the cards we made at my Christmas Card Stash Class this past Friday.  They are cased from fellow talented demonstrators or directly from the Stampin' Up! magazine that every demonstrator receives bi-monthly.

I love the look of this card!  The idea was taken directly from the Stampin' Success Magazine sent to demonstrators by Stampin' Up!  I'll admit that the pine leaves are a bit of a pain to get cut using the Big Shot and the coordinating die cut set, but they are so worth it when you see the finished card.  I promise!  You can order the Christmas Pines bundle (and save 15%) by going to my online store.

This card was tweaked from a design shared in another Stampin' Success Magazine.  (See, being a demonstrator doesn't mean you have to come up with your own designs!)  You can see the stamp set here.  It's called Time of Year and is one of the wonderful hostess sets in the catalog. The paper is called This Christmas and is a specialy paper.

Yet again, I cased this card from a Stampin' Success Magazine.  The original design was made using the note cards w/envelopes, so I adjusted the size to make a 4-1/4"x5-1/2" card.  This BIG-word stamp set, Wonderful Year, from the Holiday catalog makes the quickest cards.

This beautiful card was designed by a fellow demonstrator, Linda Bedinger.  Her card was made using Cherry Cobbler and Gold, but I love the look of the Night of Navy with Silver.  This stamp set has a coordinating framelit set also.  You can find the Star of Light bundle here.  I gave a couple options for the wording.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!  I hope to be much quicker with the next post.

August Class Projects

This month at my stamp clubs and classes, we made projects using the limited edition stamp bundle, Thoughtful Branches.  I simply love this bundle!  It's so versatile and I've only scratched the surface of the possibilities.

This idea was cased from another talented demonstrator, Kelli Needham.  I changed up the colors, but loved the layout.

This idea was a complete case from another talented demonstrator, Janet Weisheit.  I only added the stamped bird in the tree.  Simple, yet beautiful!

This simple card is my own.  I shared it earlier, but loved it so much I decided to use it in my classes. It would also make a very nice sympathy card by changing out the greeting.

***If you decide to order the bundle from me before it's gone, I will send you a packet to make these cards.  My perk for purchasing!  Check it out below and go to my online store to order.

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy stamping.

Still Playing....

I'm still playing with the new Thoughtful Branches bundle.  Hoping Stampin' Up! decides to put it in a future catalog since it's such a great set.  However, just in case they don't, you'll want to get yours now!  It's only around while supplies last (no guarantees it will be here after they sell out).
To order today, go to my online store.

Another great fall card.

Peaceful Pines-MOJO Monday 459

As has happened all too often lately,  I sat down to create and struggled to shake off the creative block!  When that happens, I so often go to one of my favorite card layout challenge sites, MOJO Monday.

This weeks challenge:

And here's what I came up with.  I wanted to use some of my Christmas stamps and Peceful Pines was new to my stamp stash and perfect for this layout.

Since demonstrators can start pre-ordering from the new Holiday catalog today, I had to use supplies I already had.  No "new" stuff yet.  This music paper is on of the images from the This Christmas designer series paper in the 2016/17 Catalog.

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy stamping.

Thoughtful Branches

I had some time today to play in my creative space.  Yeah!  So what did I do?  Well, first I did some cleaning up because I find a messy and disorganized space difficult to be creative in.  Then, I took time to play with a new bundle (available to customers beginning August 2nd while supplies last) called Thoughtful Branches.

It's an amaziing set, and so very versatile!  You will be in love too.

Here's what I made:

Don't forget that Bonus Days are going on through this week.  For every $50 you spend (before shipping & tax) you'll receive a Bonus Days coupon (via email) for $5 to spend August 2-31st.  Stock up on those things you need now and buy this wonderful set in August!

Thanks for stopping by.

Watercolor Fun

This past Monday I had a card to create for a monthly swap I participate in with my adopted Stampin' Up! upline's team.  I don't know about you, but the creative block seems to creep up all too often, and Monday was one of those days.

When that happens, I go to my "go-to" spot which happens to be card sketch challenges.  One of the ones I absolutely love, is Mojo Monday.

Here is the sketch from earlier in June that I was inspired by:

And, here is the swap card that I made using it:

You'll notice that I turned the sketch around.  I used the new hostess set, Love You Lots from the SU! 2016-17 Catalog.  It's absolutely adorable; all the images!  Makes you want to host a party now, doesn't it?

I watercolored the image using watercolor paper, and Aquapainters.  The little heart is one of the new Enamel Shapes, here in 2016-17 In-Colors.  It added just the right "pop" that I felt this card needed.

Thanks for stopping by.

Playing with Paper Pumpkin

I received my Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail just a couple days ago.  And, though I'll admit I'm not real keen on banners, I'm loving this kit.  That's of course because I'm making other things with it!  I absolutely LOVE the confetti, the washi tape and the colors.

Here is one of the cards that I've made:

I also used one of the stamps from the March Paper Pumpkin kit, the little graduation hats.  I didn't use the confetti that came with the June kit because I wanted a more neutral color scheme, so I used some of the Metallic Sequins that you can find in the 2016-17 Catalog.  I also used some of the new Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine.

The idea for the shaker card came after cutting the star from the card base.  I decided to cut the star again using the next smaller star and using it as the focal point and shaker.  Hope you like it too!

Happy stamping!

Loving the Jars of Love

I finally had some time to sit and play with new stamps today, and have been enjoying listening to worship music at the same time.  Good times!

There are many new sets that I've been wanting to stamp with, but the new Jars of Love bundle (stamp set with coordinating framelits set) has been the one that's been on the top of the list.  Here's what I came up with today.

The designer paper that I used in the background is from the new stack called Serene Scenery and this particular page just seems to say summer to me.  It's a simple card, but I like it!  Hope you do too.

Thanks for stopping by.

Good Bye, Good Buys Open House

You probably have heard it said that all good things must come to an end.  Well, sometimes that's a good thing.  If you live nearby, plan to stop by this next Tuesday for my retirement/new catalog open house.  It's time for me to clear out the old (retiring) to make room for the new and that means great deals for you!

Hope to see you next week!

Sometimes you just need a little MOJO!

Ever need a little creative MOJO?  I seem to need it all the time.  Thankfully, there are some great sketches on the web and one of the ones I go to regularly is Mojo Monday.  This week, I needed some MOJO to create a swap card for one of the groups I'm a part of and the Monday Mojo blog came to the rescue once again.

The stamp set used, Marquee Messages, is the one given out at the On Stage event in April to attendees.  I bet you can't wait to order your set on June 1st, huh?  I fussy cut a couple of the elements and glued them onto the stamped image.  The designer series paper is another of the new products coming in the new catalog. It's called Playful Pallette.

Here was the sketch for this week:

Extra, extra, read all about it!

When something is so exciting, the blog title is exactly what I think of.  A young boy yelling out to sell his paper with the latest headline.  That's exactly what is happening starting June 1st.

Extra Stampin’ Rewards
For the month of June, you can get $35 in Extra Stampin’ Rewards when you host a stamping event with $350 or more in sales. That’s more money you can use for products in the new annual catalog, and you know there are PLENTY of new products you’ll want to bring home.

Did you know that Stampin’ Rewards (host dollars) can be used on a Starter Kit?  So this is a great time to start your Stampin' Up! business for less.  Starter kits are only $99 and come with $125 in products, and includes business supplies and ships for free.

May Classes

Boy, has May been a busy month for so many.  With graduations and the last weeks of school everyone has been so busy.  If you were able to attend one of my classes during this month, these are the cards you would have made (in one of the variations shown).

These cards were cased (copy and share everything) from the talented demonstrator, TyraCiesielczyk

These cards were cased from Nancy Ferb, another talented demonstrator.  I've changed almost everything, but loved her layout.

These last cards were also cased from a swap at OnStage in April.  I don't have the demonstrator's name (if it was you, please let me know and I'll give you credit).  Again, I've changed the colors but I loved the layout.

If you love the stamp set, or any of the designer papers or ribbons we used, order them TODAY!
All will be retiring and are available only while supplies last.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy stamping!

Happy Mother's Day!

Hope all the mom's had a great Mother's Day!  Here is a photo of the cards I made this year.
Thanks to Shauna Mikuliak for the inspiration.

It uses the die cut Berry Basket Bigz for the Sizzix Big-Shot, but only part of one of the basket pieces.   Such a great use of this retiring die cut.  If you are inspired, go order your's today!

Thanks again for stopping by.

New Things Coming!

Sharing a card I made for a group swap with my adopted stamping group.

It uses a new stamp that's coming in the next catalog as well as a few of the new In-colors too.  The layout was cased from the display boards at the recent On Stage event in Salt Lake.

Thanks for stopping by.

Another Sneak Peek

Here's another sneak peek from the display boards at Stampin' Up!'s On Stage this past week.

These layering framelits are great!  So many different sizes of layers available by using them.
Makes you anxious to order them, doesn't it?  June 1st can't come soon enough.

Paper Pumpkin Take

This month's Paper Pumpkin kit was an adorable little wreath. It seemed a bit small to put on my door, but perfect to use as a candle wreath.

Do you like getting surprise craft kits in the mail?  That's exactly what Paper Pumpkin is!  Each month a box arrives (unless you decide to skip it, & yes you can decide to skip a month but why would you?) including everything you need to create 3-D items, cards, etc., minus the adhesive & scissors.  (Most months even adhesive dots are included.).

Contact me to get your subscription started.  (www.paperpumpkin.com & put me as your demonstrator.)
