All Good Things....

It seems like all good things come to an end at some point.  For the 2015 Holiday Catalog, that time is quickly approaching!  Stampin' Up! has posted the retiring list for the Holiday Catalog.  You can view the PDF here.  All items on the retired list are available while supplies last or through January 4th.  Stamps will be available here in the United States until a week before (December 28th) and while supplies last after that.

Let me know if there is something you don't want to miss out on before it's gone!  The quickest way is to always place an online order, but I'm happy to help place the order for you if you'd rather.

Happy Stamping!

A Wonderful Night of Stamping!

Last night I had the awesome priviledge of sharing my love of rubber stamping and paper crafting with a group of ladies.  With the Christmas season fast approaching, I focused on gift packaging.  While the projects that I shared were Christmas themed, they could just as easily be adapted for any occasion.

I demonstrated this fast (really it does go together fairly quickly) gift bag.  The idea was demonstrated on stage at the Stampin' Up! Convention back in July of this year.  I modified the idea by making a poinsettia flower embellishment using the Festive Flower Builder punch and coordinating stamp set, Reason for the Season.

The make & take that everyone made was this cute little gift bag that uses the Petite Cafe bags, some designer series paper banners, a quick tag and some Thick Baker's Twine trim.  The bags are food safe, so anything from small cookies and other treats, to even non-food items are packaged quickly and beautifully too!

Retired Stamps & Accessories for sale

I've finally gotten through all the retired stamp sets and accessories that I no longer wish to keep.  So, I'm offering them to the first ones who claim them at great prices!  Sorry no photos, they are all fairly recent so get out those catalogs.  Prices do not include shipping.  If the item needs to be shipped to you, I'll ship via USPS Priority flat-rate boxes (smallest to fit the items).

Check them all out here.

If you live nearby, I can arrange to deliver the items to you.  I prefer PayPal for payment.

Thanks for looking.

Thankful Forest Friends Club Fun

This past month, I shared the Thankful Forest Friends stamp set with stamp club.  When this set was first introduced at Stampin' Up! Convention this July, I fell in love with the bear in the set.  He is just so adorable!

Here are the projects we made:

Thanks for my downline, Jen Wade for this great card idea.  Only thing added was the Into the Woods Elements.

You always can use a good birthday card, right?

Thanks for stopping by.  All products can be purchased through my online store.

September Class Projects

I think I say this all the time, but life gets kinda crazy!  Although I've been in my craft room often, mostly to try to put something together for a class, I haven't been very good at showing all of you what those creative projects are!

Here are the projects made at the September Stampin' Escape Class.  I focus on one stamp set and 3 projects are made from it so that you have at least 3 different ideas.

This gift card holder uses the wonderful Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.  You could just as easily add a couple Ghirardelli chocolates on the pull-out and make it a treat bag.

I love the simplicity of silver and white for winter and Christmas cards.  A little silver embossing powder and a few Rhinestones Basic Jewels give just the right "pop".

Finally, I just fell in love with this card when I first saw it.  It's CASED from fellow demonstrator, Michelle Pollard.  The TIEF was inked up before the card stock was placed into it to give the colored background.  Black birds and peeking eyes were stamped onto it next.  Quick and easy!

Happy stamping!  Thanks for stopping by.

Just Saying "Thank-You"

This past week, I sent out thank you notes to my Paper Pumpkin subscribers.  It's something I do every month for those who subscribe.  Just a little perk!  I try to use the previous subscription kit to make the thank you, giving another use for the stamps that were in the kit.

Here is the thank you that I sent out this month.  It uses the stamp set from the July Paper Pumpkin kit as well as Gorgeous Grunge and the Pretty Petals paper stack.

Today is the last day to sign-up and get 50% off* your 1st 2 months of Paper Pumpkin.  It's the suprise paper crafting kit that comes right to your door each month.  (*you must be a 1st time subscriber to receive this deal)

Classic Christmas

I started working on this card over a week ago, but hit a creative block and set it aside.  It's kinda funny how that when I picked it back up today, I really didn't do that much more to finish the card.  However, I'm pleased with the results.  I think it's a classic look using only silver and white.

Can't wait to play some more with this awesome bundle from the Holiday Catalog!

Oh What Fun....

Today I pulled out one of the new kits that will be available starting September 1st in the Holiday Catalog.  It's called, Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit and it really is fun.  The kit will make 30 tags and includes everything to make them, minus the stamp set, inks and adhesives.

While you can purchase the kit (come September 1st) and make it yourself, it would be so much more fun to make together with a few friends!  Contact me today, and schedule your own "Let's Kit Together Class".

It's a Class Week!

This week is a busy week around here.  It's both stamp club week and Stampin' Escape Class week!
In my neck of the woods, it's also the back to school week.  So, many of you are crazy busy with last minute preparations too.  I often forget about back to school time because I don't have anyone in my house who is still in school.

If you are nearby, I'd love for you to make it to my class held in my home this coming Thursday.  There are 2 times to choose from; one in the morning and one in the evening.  Message or email me for details.  I must have RSVP's by close of day Tuesday, August 18th so I can prepare.

Here is a sneak peek of what we'll be making.  All projects use the new stamp set, Garden in Bloom, from the 2015-16 Catalog.

Convention Make & Take Share

One of the many things that I enjoy while attending a Stampin' Up! event, is the chance to sit down as my customers do when they attend my events, and stamp!  All demonstrators who attended Convention were given a stamp set from the new Holiday catalog.  It's called Your Presents, and although it's a Christmas stamp set, there are so many other occasions you could use it for.  I love how we got to make a birthday card with it!

Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time...happy stamping!

Isn't this little card adorable?  It's one of the displays from Convention showcasing the new 2015 Holiday Catalog.

I cannot wait until I can order.  The sales period begins September 1st.  You are going to want to schedule your own class now!

July Stamp Club Projects

For stamp club this month, I really wanted to use the stamp set, Sheltering Tree.  I was so glad it made it into the new catalog!  This set is SO versatile!

Here are the projects (thanks to Pinterest for all the inspiration).

July Class Projects

For my July stamp class, we made some projects using the new set You're Sublime and the Photopolymer set, Lovely Amazing You (it's only available for certain through next month!).

All cards used the same layout and much was cased from Dawn Olchefske.

Roomie Gits Are the Best!

Roomie Gifts are the Best! Especially the making of them for those you are rooming with!

Here is the water bottle and stamped tag that I made for my downline I'm traveling with:

There were 3 different colors of bottles.  The flower is made using the cotton paper and punches.  So fun.  It's filled with snacks and drink mixes.  Hope they like them!

Getting Recognized

Today, one of my team members and I were recognized for a milestone achievement of reaching $100,000 in sales since we started.  Jen was also recognized for her 10-yr anniversary w/SU!  We got to go to a special room just for those who met certain milestones in their career, get a prize filled w/stamping and snacking goodies, and get free sodas from the fountain.  Pretty cool!

June Stamp Club Projects

In my continued goal to get caught up, here are the projects we made in June at stamp club.

Convention Day 1

We are ready for the doors to open!  Can't wait for more fun to begin.

Convention Swaps

Getting ready for Stampin' Up!'s annual convention is always a push.  This year was no exception.  I didn't make that many swaps, and I'm really okay with that.  I did think it would be nice to share with you what I did make though!  Here they are:

June Class Projects

I'm getting caught up with things.  It doesn't help when you've been traveling some, and were behind before then!  Ha!  Better late than not at all.   I'm going with that.  Here are the projects we made in June at my stamping classes.

This adorable set has so many uses.  It's the 2015-16 Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set, and for every one sold, Stampin' Up! will donate $3 to the cause!

More May Class Projects

Here are some additional projecs from my May stamp club meeting.  Once again, they were CASED projects.

I love the simplicity of this card layout, and it could be modified and used for so many different occasions and genres.

This adorable project was created by Nicole Tugrul.  The mustache framelit is unfortunately retired now, but it really adds to the card.  If you haven't tried the Mini Treat Bag thinlits die yet, you should.  It's so much fun and so easy to use.

Finally, we made this adorable card that was inspired by the Stampin' Success Magazine (an exclusive magazine that all Stampin' Up! demonstrators get every other month) and made by the talented Sharon Armstrong.  You can find her tutorial on her blog.

New Catalog Inspiration

Here is a little project using products from the new catalog to inspire you.

This lovely card was designed by a fellow demonstrator friend, Nancy Fitzgerald.  It uses the new stamp set, You've Got This and some of the new Neutrals Designer Series Paper.  I love the new designs in the designer series paper color collection stacks.

May Class Projects

After my long hiatus, I'm finally getting the projects we made this last month posted. I can't claim the creativity for most of them, as I CASED (copy and share everything) all but one, with minor tweaks!
This first card idea I actually came up with all on my own!  Now normally, that wouldn't require a big  "wow", but lately....well, the creative MOJO just hasn't been there.

Inside view.  I really liked using the Chalkboard paper and Chalk Ink, and will miss them not being a part of the Stampin' Up! line.
This card uses a layout from a convention swap I received a couple years ago.  The paper and accessories that the demonstrator had used were long retired, so I refreshed it with current (well at least they were through yesterday!) ones.
Finally, we made this very manly birthday card.  The complete idea came from the display boards at the Leadership conference I attended back in Januay.  I'm so happy that this stamp set made it into the new catalog!

Just goes to show you that you can find inspiration everywhere.  I hope I've inspired you with these projects too.
