Day 5 Christmas Post

It's the 5th day of December and time for the next Christmas post. Today it's a luminary to go around a simple inexpensive votive cup.

The luminary is made using a 3"x10" piece of printed window sheet. In this case, it's the Snowfall printed window sheets from the Holiday Mini catalog (item #116805). The scalloped lower edge is made with a strip of Bravo Burgundy card stock that I scalloped one edge using the Scallop Edge punch and then attached it to the lower edge with a strip of Sticky Strip.

The trees are from the Patterned Pines stamp set, stamped using Always Artichoke Craft ink and embossed using Clear embossing powder. (Be careful when heating the powder on window sheets, and keep the heat tool moving!) A medium sized clear rhinestone brad was added to the middle tree. The entire piece is then overlapped about 1" and adhered using more Sticky Strip.

Come back tomorrow!
