Simple Graduation Card with Cap & Gown

It's graduation season, and sometimes you just need a quick and easy card! If so, this just might be for you. The card is flat so it'll mail easily. And though it does have coloring (I know some don't care to color), it's really pretty simple coloring that won't take much time. Here is the video I put together, sharing a few tips: Thanks for subscribing to my YouTube channel! I'd love to hear your comments on the project too. Here's the alternative card I shared at the end of the video: There are so many possibilities with this set!  You can easily order any of the products used by clicking on the images below! If your order is below $150 (you receive host benefits on orders of $150 or more before shipping & tax), please use my current host code: T3EBVGP3 Thanks! tams# 88400 Product List 162810 $23.00 132708 $8.00 154880 $11.00 119685 $11.50 147083 $9.00 131202 $11.50 15...

Cap & Gown Pop-Up Grad Card

Earlier this week, I shared a video tutorial making this fun and interactive graduation card.  It's based on the gate-fold fun fold, but with a little pop-up mechanism when opened. It was created using the Cap & Gown stamp set from the Online Exclusives: I can hardly wait to create more cards, both for graduation and other occasions with this fun set.  You can follow along with the YouTube video I put together here:  And, as mentioned in the video if you subscribe to my email list I'll send you the PDF tutorial I created for this card as my thank you. Enjoy creating, and happy stamping!

Sneak Peek! Spotlight On Nature

One of the perks of attending Stampin' Up! Demonstrator events, is the opportunity to see (and oftentimes own) new products before they are available to everyone else. Such was the case when I attended On Stage 2024 in Houston last month. An optional stamping evening was available for those who purchased it, and we had the option between one of three different stamp bundles from the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. I chose Spotlight On Nature. The details in the stamps are amazing, but I really loved all the possibilities that I think the coordinating die set will give. This card is one I created for a recent swap I participated in with fellow demonstrators.  I used an analogous color scheme (three colors that are side by side on the color wheel) for this card: Summer Splash (a 2024-2026 In Color), Coastal Cabana & Pool Party. A touch of glimmer paper, brand new in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog: the 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Paper pack. And, I'm very pleased with how it tur...

Get Needed Supplies During April!

Every new catalog brings with it excitement for all the new  things! And, of course, there's the hard part of seeing many items retire too.  It's no surprise (unless you live under a rock) that inflation has been rearing its ugly head, and Stampin' Up! hasn't been immune to it either. They do what they can to keep prices down, but...there are some increases coming with the new catalog.  Check out the list here, and if you need (or want) to stock up on any of them before the increases, purchase before the end of April*. *note that there are some ink colors, cardstock colors, etc. that are in the not-orderable category because of order volume and supply-chain issues.

Let's Go Shopping Pop-Up Diorama Fun-Fold Card

I've been getting ready for the first in-person all Stampin' Up! Demonstrator event since before the world shut-down! It'll be so good to re-connect with many that I've met throughout my 22 years as a Stamin' Up! Demonstrator as well as meeting new friends too.  Part of gathering in Stampin' Up! events is something called swapping. It's crazy and it's fun and you walk away with so many great ideas! Whew!  I joined a couple of organized swaps (planned ahead of time with a specific theme) for OnStage Houston, Texas. This card is the first I'll be sharing. It's a fun-fold card and I chose to use the pop-up diorama layout to create it. This is the card opened up. I chose to use the Les Shoppes designer series papers (part of the Les Shoppes Suite of products out of the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog) as well as the stamp set and die set (Let's Go Shopping).  This is the folded outside of the card. So cute with the setting sun and the park bench!  I h...
