#SU! Waves of the Ocean Twisted-Easel

Are you looking for something a bit different when designing a card for that special someone? This fun-fold card is just what you are looking for! It uses basic dimensions, but with a "twist"!  The card front comes from a design I just loved, shared by Linda Cullen . I simplified the design front, but then used it for a Twisted-Easel fun-fold card. Thanks for the idea Linda! Here are the measurements as promised: Card base: Coastal Cabana cardstock, 4-1/4" x 11"; scored along the 11" side at 5-1/2" (score diagonally along the card front from lower 5-1/2" score-line up to the upper corner) Basic Black cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"; 2-7/8" x 3-7/8"; scrap with Adhesive Sheet adhered to one side for the bird dies Shimmery White cardstock: 2-3/4" x 3-3/4"; 2" x 3" for the bird on the inside; scraps for clouds cut from dies Waves of the Ocean DSP: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"; 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" Watch the instructional ...

#SU! Cactus Cuties Hello

Sometimes you want just a simple card to put into the mail that says "hello". That's exactly what this cute little card does! Paired with the Pattern Party designer series papers (paper that you can choose when you host a party or spend $150 or more) or any fun patterned paper that you have on hand. By choosing a pastel color palette, it changes the mood. And, this layout can be turned around to make a horizontal fold card too. So many possibilities! Here are the measurements: Basic White Thick cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored along the 11" side at 4-1/4" Pool Party cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" Crushed Curry cardstock: 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" Pattern Party DSP: 3 coordinating prints 1- 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" (horizontal orientation); 1- 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" (vertical orientation); 1- 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" (horizontal orientation) Ribbon or Trim of choice (I used Pool Party 3/8" sheer ribbon): 2 pieces, 1- 6"; 1- 3"...

#SU! Ocean Front Sympathy

It never fails that when you need a sympathy card you don't have one. I am not in that situation right now, but I want to be thinking ahead a little bit. This card layout is one that I think I might use for other occasions as well; perhaps with different color schemes. This simple layout goes together quickly, and if you decided you didn't want to cut-out the rock in the foreground, it would go even quicker. Here are the measurements: Coastal Cabana cardstock base: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored along the 8-1/2" side at 4-1/4" Pumpkin Pie cardstock: 3-3/8" x 4-5/8"  Shimmery White cardstock: 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Basic White cardstock (you could use Shimmery White as well): 4" x 5-1/4" and scraps to stamp the rock and the greeting. I hope you'll watch this short video tutorial for tips and assembly tricks:   You can order any of the supplies I used in the making of this card by simply clicking on the photos of products below.
