#SU! Simple Easel Fold Calendar

Each year I like to create and send a hand-stamped calendar to each of those on my Little Inkers team (those who've signed-up under me within Stampin' Up!). This year, I used a fun-fold I found from Tricia Butts, a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator. You can see her blog post here .  Here is what those calendars looked like: With everything going on around the Christmas holiday (family visiting and other activities), I haven't spend much time in my stamping space. Maybe you can relate? However, with the New Year approaching quickly I'm hoping to be back in a regular routine of creating.  I recorded a video tutorial of a variation on this calendar, and I hope you'll check it out. Perhaps one of these will spark your own creativity. Here's the video link: Here are the project measurements: Granny Apple Green cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" Basic White cardstock: 2-1/2" x 3-1/4"; 2" x 3"; scraps for cloud die Pool P...

Accordion Z-Fold Card Tutorial

If you've been following me for awhile now, you know that I love the z-fold card. It's simple and yet a real "wow" for the recipient.  Today's card adds just a little twist, a few more folds. And, it's a great way to show-off the beautiful Designer Series Papers that Stampin' Up! sells too. I put together a video showing all the steps to put together this fun-fold card. And, at the end I share a few more projects that I made using it. I hope you'll check it out.  Measurements: Evening Evergreen cardstock: 5-1/2" x 11", score along the 11" side at 1-3/4", 3-1/2", 5-1/4" & 7"; 3" x 6", score along the 6" side at 3" Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper: 2 pieces cut at 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" and 2 pieces cut at 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" Basic White cardstock: 3-3/4" x 5-1/4" and one piece 3" x 3"  Be sure to use the November host code: PA43R2KF (good through 11/30/2022) ...

October 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Each month, I make thank-you cards to send to my Paper Pumpkin subscribers using the current month kit stamps. It's a great challenge for me and hopefully an inspiration for those who receive one in the mail too! This month, I wanted to incorporate a couple techniques too. The first came somewhat by accident. After making one card adding White Craft ink for the stars, I decided to use an emboss-resist technique. The other technique is masking using Stampin' Up!'s new masking paper . Measurements: Crumb Cake cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" along the 8-1/2" side Pool Party cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White cardstock: 3-3/4" x 5"; plus scrap Follow along with the technique tutorial video that I put together: If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours! You can order anytime through my SU! website . To order any product used in this project you can simply click on the images belo...

#SU! The Best Remedy Kits Collection Alternative

Did you know that Stampin' Up! has a line of paper-crafting kits? There is a subscription option called Paper Pumpkin , and then there is a separate line not found in any publication called the Kits Collection . These kits are available if they are found on the SU! website.  After putting together this fun kit, The Best Remedy I had this idea to do something fun with a little fussy-cutting and cutting using a Xacto-knife. Whether you take the time for the Xacto-knife cutting or not, I hope you'll consider making some additional cards and projects using this fun kit. If you are up to the challenge, please watch the tutorial video that I put together: Measurements: Basic White Thick cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"; 1-3/8" x 3-1/2" Pacific Point cardstock: 2-1/4" x 4-1/2" Basic White cardstock: 3/8" x 2-1/4" & 3" x 3-1/2" If you don't al...
