New Things Coming!

Sharing a card I made for a group swap with my adopted stamping group.

It uses a new stamp that's coming in the next catalog as well as a few of the new In-colors too.  The layout was cased from the display boards at the recent On Stage event in Salt Lake.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy stamping!

Another Sneak Peek

Here's another sneak peek from the display boards at Stampin' Up!'s On Stage this past week.

These layering framelits are great!  So many different sizes of layers available by using them.
Makes you anxious to order them, doesn't it?  June 1st can't come soon enough.

Paper Pumpkin Take

This month's Paper Pumpkin kit was an adorable little wreath. It seemed a bit small to put on my door, but perfect to use as a candle wreath.

Do you like getting surprise craft kits in the mail?  That's exactly what Paper Pumpkin is!  Each month a box arrives (unless you decide to skip it, & yes you can decide to skip a month but why would you?) including everything you need to create 3-D items, cards, etc., minus the adhesive & scissors.  (Most months even adhesive dots are included.).

Contact me to get your subscription started.  (www.paperpumpkin.com & put me as your demonstrator.)

April Class Projects

Don't get too surprised.  I'm actually posting the projects made at the April classes/clubs during the month of April!

This month I focused on the Number of Years bundle from the Occasions Catalog.  It's such a versatile stamp set, and these projects just scratch the surface of what can be done with it.

Between May and June many students will graduate.  Congratulate them with this card (you might want to include cash too).  The graduation cap is made using the large oval punch (which is retiring) and trimming it from center point to center point all the way around.

This card was cased.  You can see the original idea here.  I've simplified it to meet my stamping style.

Finally, we made an anniversary card.  Many of the ladies chose to make it a birthday card.  It would also make a beautiful Mother's Day card utilizing different message stamps.  It also was cased, but simplified the way I like it.  You can see the original card here.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy stamping!

Saying Goodbye

With the retired list posted, I'll be taking a big hit on my stamp sets!

What stamp sets are you sad to see go? And what sets are you planning on purchasing before they are gone?

A Little Sneak Peek

Here's just a little sneak peek of things to come in the new catalog.

Pretty, huh?  They are as soft and airy as they look too!  Can you guess the colors?
Comment and let's see who's correct.  (Fellow Demonstrator's, don't give it away, please!)

Going, going.....gone!

It's that time of year again.  The time of year that Stampin' Up! posts the retiring lists.  Check it out, and remember to order early as items are available only while supplies last and many are at a discount.  Here's the list.
