April Class/Club Projects

Here are the stamp projects for April classes and clubs.  I wanted to share this beautiful paper rose (made super simple with the Sizzix Big-Shot and a die cut) and this adorable gift bag with removable tag and coordinating note cards was just the thing!

I'm a little sad that Stampin' Up! will no longer be carrying the Core'dinations card stock.  I loved not just the texture but also the flexibility to add vintage texture using textured impressions folders and a sanding block.

The stamp set used to showcase some great watercolor techniques is Simply Sketched which is a hostess set (so only available to purchase with hostess dollars when you host a party).  However, there are other stamps that would work great as well.  Gently Falling, Love & Sympathy & Wetlands just to name a few.

All these note cards fit wonderfully into the gift bag and Crumb Cake note card envelopes are available for purchase (40 of them for $5.50) to finish out a great gift for mother's day, birthday or just to say "hey, I'm thinking of you".

Celebrating

Each month I have the priviledge of celebrating the accomplishments of those who are on my team.  Here is what those who had top sales and top recruiting for March received:

It's a chocolate bar wrapped up in pretty packaging.  I really liked the black & off-white look.  Simple and classic!  The stamp is from Million & One.

Here is the card that I sent to my team members this month:

It's another black & off-white creation.  The stamps are from the Chalk Talk stamp set.  I think I'll be making more of this layout utilizing different color combinations.

Magazine Inspiration

Today I received in the mail my latest Family Circle magazine.  While flipping through the pages, I came across this page talking about color tends in clothing.

Coral is all the rage in the stores, and the ombre look is as well.  It was the pants that intrigued me though, and made me think about using that ispiration to make a card.  Here is what I came up with:

The colors didn't turn out as true as I'd like, but they are Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe.  I didn't have any Crisp Cantaloupe ribbon, but did have a piece of the 5/8" Organza ribbon that I had colored using the Stampin' Spritzer, rubbing alchohol and re-inkers.  It worked perfect for this card. 

The stamp is from Perfect Pennants that you can find in the Occasions Catalog.
