Fall Stamposium Swap Card

This is the card I made for a stamping event I attended last weekend called a Fall Stamposium. It's put on by Tara Bazata's stamping group, Ink Inc. The day was a great day of inspiration and stamping with friends.

The card is made using Bashful Blue card stock that is cut out using a snow-globe template. The image is stamped using the Loads of Love stamp set. It's stamped 4 times, once each onto Ruby Red, Bashful Blue, Going Gray and Basic Gray card stock with Jet-Black Staz-On ink. Then each was cut out for the various parts of the truck that I wanted (i.e. wheels, windows, etc.). The snow is Whisper White card stock torn to give the look of fallen snow. The tree is stamped behind the truck before it's adhered to the card. Then to make it all look like the snow has been falling on it, I used the White Signo Gel pen to add details of snow. The base is a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock trimmed to fit. And to finish the whole card off, I tied a 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon around.
