Priceless Suspension Card

It’s been quite a few days since my last post! Life’s been busy with an early camping trip and all that it takes to get ready for that. Here’s a card that I made for one of my stamp club meetings. I had challenged my club members to make a suspension card (like the one posted earlier using the birthday cake) but to use different stamps and colors.

It’s hard to see from the picture, but there is actually some rose pink glitter from the Fine Cosmo glitter mixed in with the silver embossing powder. It really adds some pizzaz to the card!

SUDSOL Challenge Card

This is a card that I designed for a challenge on a SU! demonstrator web board that I am a member of. We were challenged to take a layout from a couple of years ago, and make a card using the same layout, but use different colors and stamps. It was great fun to come up with a new card in a short amount of time.

I chose to use the set “Priceless”, which I’ve actually had for a little while, but haven’t used much. So, it was good to stretch my creative juices with that set. It’s hard to see in the scan of the card, but the butterflies are stamped, then stamped again on another piece of cardstock and cut out. The cut-out butterflies are then glued down on the first butterflies, but with the wings folded up. They also have just a bit of glitter on them. I also wanted to use some of the new Styled-Silver hodgepodge and Chocolate Chip poly-twill that is in the new Occasions Mini. It really pulls everything together.

Congrats Card

I needed to come up with a congratulations card for my down-line. She had such a wonderful month in sales for February! Way to go, Jen! Anyway, this is the card that I came up with. It uses the Merci stamp set from Sale-a-Bration and one of the images from Amazing to Zany. I’m really liking the layout, and plan to make other cards using the same one. This stamp set works so well for watercoloring.
