June Stamp Club Projects

Don't fall out of your chairs just yet, but I'm actually posting the projects for my June stamp club on the day that we have stamp club! I know, shocking!

This card is one I've cased (something I seem to need to do a lot lately) from another talented demonstrator, but I don't remember her name. It uses the single stamp from the Summer Mini catalog Land of the Free, and Newsprint Designer Series Paper, and the Extra-Large Star punch (both are on the retired list). The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy and Very Vanilla. The star was punched first and then run through the Big-Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder. A simple card that could be used for either a summer birthday or the 4th of July celebration.

This next card is again a case, from Laura Seago. It uses the Inlaid Embossing technique, applying punched images onto card stock and then running it all through the Big-Shot using a textured impressions folder. Here I used the Square Lattice one. The punch is the new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch from the Summer Mini catalog. The colors used are Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Whisper White. It's finished off with basic rhinestones.

The last card is actually one I came up with on my own. It uses the Level 2 hostess set from the Summer Mini catalog, Love & Care, and is colored in using Water Wonder Crayons applied directly to the stamp, misted with water and then stamped onto the card stock. I used the Brights Collection Water Wonder Crayons. The Designer Series Paper is again, Newsprint, and the accent at the bottom is a piece of Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware. The hardware is on the retired list and is at a discount! The colors used are Old Olive, Melon Mambo, and Very Vanilla.

Thanks for stopping by.

May Stamp Club Projects

As seems to be my pattern as of late, I'm a bit slow in posting the projects from this past months stamp club. All the stamps are from the Summer Mini Catalog.

And finally, a post!

It's been a long week. I've wanted to post pictures I took of cards I've made as well as some that I have received in swaps. The week ended up bringing me some sinus headaches, and I'm just now feeling up to posting.

Unfortunately, these cards all use products from the Occasions Mini Catalog that just finished the end of April. However, you could use other papers, stamps, etc to make the card layouts. And, if you just happen to be someone who purchased the items used, it will give you some new projects to try!

This first card is one that I made for a demonstrator swap back in March. The layout is one that Stampin' Up! shared with demonstrators in our monthly magazine. I used the Designer Series paper Sweet Stitches, and the Embosslit folder Sweet Buttons, as well as the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (great all around saying set), and Tiny Tags stamp set to make the card. I also used the 3/4" Circle punch, Modern Label punch, Jewelry Tag punch and Daffodil Delight Taffeta ribbon. The card stock colors are Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, and Whisper White.

Here's another card I made using the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper, Mother of Mine stamp, and Vintage Flower Adornments from the Occasions Mini catalog as well as Chantilly 1/2" crochet trim from the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog.

This card was made by my friend Kathy Howes . Adorable isn't it, using the Framed Tulips Textured Impressions folder from the Occasions Mini, and the Elements of Style stamp set (#118611 in wood or #120045 in clear) from the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog.

Please stop back by. I'll do my best to post a few more cards tomorrow. I have probably 20 to post!

March Projects

It's been a bit too long since I've posted. My apologies, life has been just a bit crazy and I'm still struggling a bit to keep up with work, home and family. All that being said, I have some projects from the March stamp clubs that I'd like to share.

This first one uses a technique that is so super simple and yet so neat. It's called inlaid embossing. It uses punched shapes and the Sizzix Big-Shot and a textured impressions folder. The stamp set is Wellness Wishes and can be earned for free with a $50 order through the end of this month. After that, it can be purchased for $14.95 from the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog.

This card was made using the Big-Shot and the build-a-bear dies, making the bear into a bunny for easter.

Because it's Sale-A-Bration time, the remaining projects all use items available only through the Sale-A-Bration brochure and only through March 31st.

Time for Inspiration

It's been a long week. I'm participating in a swap, and was struggling to find inspiration to come up with the card I was going to make. So, I did what I do a lot of the time. I started looking through cards I've made in the past. This time, I didn't have to look very far.

If the card looks familiar, it should. It is very, very similar to my last post. I changed the colors (used Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso). And, I really like the square scallop stamp from the Punch Bunch stamp set that is available only through the month of March for Sale-a-Bration.

I wanted to do something different on the inside. Here's what I came up with. The saying is from the stamp set Bring on the Cake from the Occassions Mini catalog.

Thanks for stopping by.
