#Stampin' Up! Pop-Up Diorama Card

I often participate in card swaps with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. Awhile back I received in one of these swaps a card using this layout that I'm sharing with you today. I'm calling it a Pop-Up Diorama card. Not sure what anyone else calls it. I was amazed at how simple this was to put together as well.

This is the front of the card. It lays flat for mailing which is great!

The card opens up to show the diorama. So cool!

Here are the measurements for making this card:

Petal Pink 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock: 4-1/4”x11”, score at 5-1/2” & 9-3/4”; 4-1/4”x5-1/4”, score at ½” & 4-3/4”;

scrap for butterfly cut using Nature's Thoughts Dies

Basic White 8 1/2" X 11" Cardstock: 4” x 4” stamp with background image & add die-cut butterfly; 4"X5" to stamp leaves, butterfly & flower (these cut using the Nature's Thoughts Dies)

Calypso Coral 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock: Largest scallop circle die from Layering Circles Dies, decorative border die from Nature's Thoughts Dies

Pear Pizzazz 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock: Small leaf accents cut using the Nature's Thoughts Dies

Window Sheets: ¼” x 3”

#Stampin' Up! Inspired Thoughts Sympathy Card

 

These are the types of cards that no one wants to send, but unfortunately we often get to! Since we don't plan for the times we send sympathy cards, why not make up a few so that they are at the ready when you need them.

While the die-cutting takes a little time, this card goes together rather quickly! Assemble your supplies from the list below, and then watch the instructional video for tips.

See the photos below for stamps, papers and accessories needed. 

Here are the measurements:

Basic White Thick cardstock: 8-1/2"x5-1/2", and scored at 4-1/4" for a horizontal fold card

Basic Black cardstock: 5-1/4"x3-7/8" for the die-cut trees; 4-1/8"x5-3/8"

Basic White cardstock: 4"x5-1/4"; scrap for the front label.

Linen Thread: 3-1/2"

#Stampin' Up! Pansy Patch W-Fold Card

At my last team meeting my downline Michele shared the following card layout in our mystery stamping segment. (I'll share the card I made then at the end of this post.) I'd wondered what all the little pieces of cardstock and designer series papers were going to be used for. Such a fun card layout, and not new at all, but new to me!

I decided to use a die-cut pansy for my focal image on the front, and then add greetings on the inside.

 

I'm really pleased with how it all turned out. Here are all the dimensions to make this card. Cut your papers and then follow along with my video tutorial. I give some tips and tricks that make putting it together a breeze!

Supplies:

Soft Succulent cardstock: 4-1/4"x11" and scored at 5-1/2"; 1-3/4"x11" and scored at 2-3/4", 5-1/2" & 8-1/4"; 1"x5-1/4"; plus scraps for the leaves

Evening Evergreen cardstock: 2-1/2"x2-1/2"; 4 pieces cut 2"x2-3/4"; plus scraps for the leaves

Basic White: 2-1/4"x2-1/4"; 2 pieces cut 1-3/4"x2-1/2"; plus scraps for pansy

Pansy Petals Designer Series Papers: 3 pieces landscape orientation (I chose one floral and 2 gingham) cut 4:x5-1/4"; 2 pieces portrait orientations (I chose 2 of the same floral print) cut 1-3/4"x2-1/2"

For the Pansy:

The yellow pansy: Bumble Bee, So Saffron & Basic White cardstock scraps

The lavender pansy: Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, Bumble Bee & Basic White cardstock scraps

10 inches Evening Evergreen 3/8" Chevron Weave Ribbon
