#SU Sweet as a Peach Drapery Pull-Back Tutorial with tips

Each month I make and send thank-you notes for anyone who places an order through me. Because the stamp club ladies decided to use the Sweet as a Peach bundle for the projects we made this past couple months, I decided to make one more thank-you card using this suite of products too.

The Stampin' Up! promotion for July is 15% off select designer series papers. So, since this adorable You're a Peach designer series paper is among those papers on sale, I wanted to showcase both sides of the paper. What better layout to use than a drapery pull-back card.

While playing with the layout, I came up with what I think is an ingenious tip for scoring the paper at just the right place. I hope you'll check out the video tutorial, and then of course, make some yourself!

Measurements:

Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes (you get 20 of each)
Calypso Coral cardstock: 3-1/2" x 5"
You're a Peach designer series paper: 3-3/8" x 4-7/8"
Scraps of Basic White cardstock for the stamped peach embellishment

Here's the video:

Stampin' Up! DSP Gift Card Holder with/Belly-Band Closure

At the June meeting of my LittleINKers team, we made the most adorable gift card holder during the mystery stamping portion of the meeting. Jen Wade, one of my team members was responsible for that portion of the meeting. She used an idea originally shared by demonstrator, Ronda Wade.

Here is the card I made during our mystery card time:

It's super-cute with the colorful ribbon and adorable tag tied to the bow. However, not as mail-friendly!

The belly-band seemed the perfect choice.

Here are the measurements for this fun card:

Pansy Patch DSP (or whatever DSP you choose):
6"x12"; additional pieces for decorating (I cut a pansy from the same paper);
1" x 12" for belly-band

Fresh Freesia cardstock:
5"x8"

Basic White cardstock:
scraps to cut tag large enough for greeting; cut using Tasteful Labels die

Be sure to watch the video below for tips on how to put this simple and fun card together. Perfect for all those gift-card-giving occasions.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!

#Stampin' Up! Pop-Up Diorama Card

I often participate in card swaps with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. Awhile back I received in one of these swaps a card using this layout that I'm sharing with you today. I'm calling it a Pop-Up Diorama card. Not sure what anyone else calls it. I was amazed at how simple this was to put together as well.

This is the front of the card. It lays flat for mailing which is great!

The card opens up to show the diorama. So cool!

Here are the measurements for making this card:

Petal Pink 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock: 4-1/4”x11”, score at 5-1/2” & 9-3/4”; 4-1/4”x5-1/4”, score at ½” & 4-3/4”;

scrap for butterfly cut using Nature's Thoughts Dies

Basic White 8 1/2" X 11" Cardstock: 4” x 4” stamp with background image & add die-cut butterfly; 4"X5" to stamp leaves, butterfly & flower (these cut using the Nature's Thoughts Dies)

Calypso Coral 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock: Largest scallop circle die from Layering Circles Dies, decorative border die from Nature's Thoughts Dies

Pear Pizzazz 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock: Small leaf accents cut using the Nature's Thoughts Dies

Window Sheets: ¼” x 3”
