With Sympathy

Sympathy cards are one of those things that you wish you never needed to send.  However, they are something that needs sent from time to time.  I found myself needing to send one just this past week, and I thought I'd share it with you here. I pulled out some retired designer series paper and glimmer paper to use on this card because I felt it worked so well.  The layout was one I cased, but cannot remember from where.  If it was you, let me know and I'll gladly give you the credit.   As I've said before, I've been addicted to coloring with the new Stampin' Blends markers.  The Remarkable You stamp set is so much fun to color too. Thanks for stopping by once again.  You can find all the supplies (except of course the retired items) in my online store. A Little Birdie Told Me

Sharing with you today a cute birthday card using the Bird Banter stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.  Once you start playing with this stamp set, you will want to keep on making and coloring the adorable birds that are included. I also can't get enough of the Stampin' Blends markers.  They give such a crisp beautiful finish to the colored image.   Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping! tams# 20204 Product List Bird Banter Photopolymer Stamp Set [ 145852 ] Big Shot [ 143263 ] Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies [ 145372 ] Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad [ 132708 ] Paper Snips Scissors [ 103579 ] Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends Markers Combo Pack [ 144600 ] Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends Markers Combo Pack [ 144602 ] Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Markers Combo Pack [ 144603 ] Picture Perfect Party 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 C...

Throwback Stamping

It's not often that I need a baby card these days, but that was the case recently.  Because I don't make make baby cards that often, I keep a few retired stamp sets for this purpose.  Thus was the case with this card.  It uses a retired stamp set called Two by Two.  This card also uses a retired Textured Impressions Folder for the Big Shot, because it pairs so well with the Noah's Ark theme. This stamp set is a perfect example of a stamp set that works well with the new Stampin' Blends.  They are alcohol markers in Stampin' Up! colors!  Yeah! To cut out the image I used the Layering Ovals Framelits for the Big Shot and I finished it all off with a Whisper White 1/4" Mini Organza ribbon.  Unfortunately, the ribbon is not orderable at the moment which only points to how much everyone has loved it!  Hopefully it will make it's way into the next catalog :-) Thanks for stopping by.  You can purchase any of the items that are curre...
