SU! 2013 Convention Swaps

I've been busy working on my Convention swaps over the past couple of weeks.  There have been a number of other things going on as well, so posting here has been non-existent.

Here is the first of my card front swaps.

I tried a new technique out, magical masking tape.   I wanted to use products that Stampin' Up! still carries (a big deal at convention and any other Stampin' Up! event), so I tried both the Shimmery White card stock and Whisper White card stock instead of the glossy card stock.  I'm pleased to report that both work.  I just happened to have more Whisper White than Shimmery White, so that's what I used.  The only tip I'll mention is to not leave the masking tape on the card stock for very long, as it will tear away the surface of the card stock and you'll have to re-do everything.  I also used regular old masking tape and not the blue painters tape, and had no problems.

The saying and the flower are heat embossed with Early Espresso embossing powder.
