Easter Surprise Card

This card is one we made at stamp club recently.  The idea is really simple (thank you Stampin' Up! for a great idea!).  It starts with a 4-1/4"x5-1/2" piece of Kraft card stock.  The top is a piece of So Saffron card stock measuring 3"x 4-1/4".  I've run this one through the Sizzix Big-Shot machine using the SU! texture plates.  Add a piece of 5/8" Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon around the lower part of this piece and set aside.  The lower piece is a 3"x4-1/4" piece of Certainly Celery with one 4-1/4" edge punched using the scallop edge punch.  These 2 pieces are attached at the left hand edge (over-lap them by 1/2") with a Certainly Celery brad.

Stamp "Easter Wishes" (from the All Holidays stamp set) in Basic Black ink onto the Kraft card stock about mid-way on the right hand side.  Stamp the bunny image (from Eight Great Greetings seen in the Occasions mini catalog) using Jet-Black Staz-On ink onto a 1-3/8"x1-7/8" piece of Whisper White card stock, then color it in with the Many Marvelous Markers.  Layer it onto a 1-5/8"x2-1/8" piece of Regal Rose card stock.  Attach to the Regal Rose ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Now, attach the Certainly Celery card stock piece (not the So Saffron, or it won't hinge open) to the Kraft.  Voila!
