November Stamping

It's been a bit crazy at our house with planning a major house remodel project.  I should also mention that it's difficult to think about stamping (especially Christmas cards) when the weather was in the 70's and even 80 through this past Wednesday!

Here are the cards we made this past Monday at my hostess stamp club:

Love, love this Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder!  Swirly Scribbles (the framelits that coordinate with the Swirly Bird stamp set) make great wreath shapes too.

I've received a couple different swaps using a similar layout to this one.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the "swirly" snowman is cut using Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.

Finally had a chance to play with the Here's to Cheers Bundle from the Holiday Catalog.  So fast, easy and elegant!  Great to attach to all those holiday treats!

Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Stamping!

Oh me, oh my!

Oh me, oh my!  I did not realize that it's been so very long since I've posted onto my blog!  The last few months I've been in a bit of a funk.  Have you ever been in a funk?  Probably.  My funk has completely affected my creativity.  Hoping it ends real soon!

I have been busy and holding classes.  Here are the cards we made at my Christmas Card Stash Class this past Friday.  They are cased from fellow talented demonstrators or directly from the Stampin' Up! magazine that every demonstrator receives bi-monthly.

I love the look of this card!  The idea was taken directly from the Stampin' Success Magazine sent to demonstrators by Stampin' Up!  I'll admit that the pine leaves are a bit of a pain to get cut using the Big Shot and the coordinating die cut set, but they are so worth it when you see the finished card.  I promise!  You can order the Christmas Pines bundle (and save 15%) by going to my online store.

This card was tweaked from a design shared in another Stampin' Success Magazine.  (See, being a demonstrator doesn't mean you have to come up with your own designs!)  You can see the stamp set here.  It's called Time of Year and is one of the wonderful hostess sets in the catalog. The paper is called This Christmas and is a specialy paper.

Yet again, I cased this card from a Stampin' Success Magazine.  The original design was made using the note cards w/envelopes, so I adjusted the size to make a 4-1/4"x5-1/2" card.  This BIG-word stamp set, Wonderful Year, from the Holiday catalog makes the quickest cards.

This beautiful card was designed by a fellow demonstrator, Linda Bedinger.  Her card was made using Cherry Cobbler and Gold, but I love the look of the Night of Navy with Silver.  This stamp set has a coordinating framelit set also.  You can find the Star of Light bundle here.  I gave a couple options for the wording.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!  I hope to be much quicker with the next post.

August Class Projects

This month at my stamp clubs and classes, we made projects using the limited edition stamp bundle, Thoughtful Branches.  I simply love this bundle!  It's so versatile and I've only scratched the surface of the possibilities.

This idea was cased from another talented demonstrator, Kelli Needham.  I changed up the colors, but loved the layout.

This idea was a complete case from another talented demonstrator, Janet Weisheit.  I only added the stamped bird in the tree.  Simple, yet beautiful!

This simple card is my own.  I shared it earlier, but loved it so much I decided to use it in my classes. It would also make a very nice sympathy card by changing out the greeting.

***If you decide to order the bundle from me before it's gone, I will send you a packet to make these cards.  My perk for purchasing!  Check it out below and go to my online store to order.

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy stamping.

Still Playing....

I'm still playing with the new Thoughtful Branches bundle.  Hoping Stampin' Up! decides to put it in a future catalog since it's such a great set.  However, just in case they don't, you'll want to get yours now!  It's only around while supplies last (no guarantees it will be here after they sell out).
To order today, go to my online store.

Another great fall card.

Peaceful Pines-MOJO Monday 459

As has happened all too often lately,  I sat down to create and struggled to shake off the creative block!  When that happens, I so often go to one of my favorite card layout challenge sites, MOJO Monday.

This weeks challenge:

And here's what I came up with.  I wanted to use some of my Christmas stamps and Peceful Pines was new to my stamp stash and perfect for this layout.

Since demonstrators can start pre-ordering from the new Holiday catalog today, I had to use supplies I already had.  No "new" stuff yet.  This music paper is on of the images from the This Christmas designer series paper in the 2016/17 Catalog.

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy stamping.

Thoughtful Branches

I had some time today to play in my creative space.  Yeah!  So what did I do?  Well, first I did some cleaning up because I find a messy and disorganized space difficult to be creative in.  Then, I took time to play with a new bundle (available to customers beginning August 2nd while supplies last) called Thoughtful Branches.

It's an amaziing set, and so very versatile!  You will be in love too.

Here's what I made:
