February Class & Club Projects

Here are the projects that we made this month at my stamp clubs and classes.

This card idea was cased from fellow demonstrator, Meredith Briden.  I adapted it to use current Stampin' Up! products.  Love the card, and so did my gals!

This little 2-4-6-8 box was a hit (at least from most)!  I had made these back in 2007!  How the time flies, but it was great bringing back some oldies but goodies.
Uses just a half-sheet of card stock.  Scored with the Simply Scored tool along the 5-1/2" side at 2, 4, 6 & 8 inches.  Turn 90 degrees and score along the 4-1/4" side at 1".  The little rectangle that is formed along the bottom is cut off, and the score lines that are 1"  at each interval are snipped up to the horizontal score.  Fold and attach with either Sticky Strip or Tombow Multi-purpose glue!

I'll look at posting a tutorial soon.  They are really simpler than it sounds.

Both of these cards were cased from fellow demonstrator, Mary Fish  This top card almost exactly like Mary's.  The bottom one using the wonderful layout, but changing it out to use all Sale-a-Bration products.
Love those Oval Framelits!

Sycamore Street Vintage Verses Thanks

It's hard to think that Sale-a-Bration only lasts for another month!  There are too many wonderful products and ideas to make with them.  I need to get busy!

Here is a card I made using the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper and the Vintage Verses stamp set, both available only during Sale-a-Bration and with a qualifying order or stamping party.

I've also used the Vine Street TIEF to give the card some texture.  This folder is also part of the Sale-a-Bration promotion.  I cut strips of the DSP in 1/2" widths, attached them to a piece of Whisper White card stock, and then ran the piece through the Big Shot using the Apothecary Accents Framelits dies.

The verse was stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink onto Whisper White card stock, cut out with another of the dies from the Apothecary Accents Framelits, and accented with a couple of the Designer Printed brads.

Card Buffet

Sunday, March 3rd
2pm to 5pm
Cost is $10 for the 1st 6 cards, each additional card is $2.
Enjoy some stamping time all while making at least 6 cards.  I'll provide 6 to 10 different card designs, you pick which expression to add (birthday, thank-you, get well, etc.)  You decide if you want all cards to be of the same design, or if you want to mix things up a bit and make one of each, the choice is yours.
So easy and fun, you'll be back for seconds!

Please RSVP by Monday, February 25th.
Bring a friend that's new to me (RSVP required), place an order or book a workshop to get additional tickets for the drawing.

More Sentinmental

Just a couple days ago, I posted a couple cards made from left-over stamp club projects packets.  Here is the other card that I made using up the remaining pieces.

The new Natural 7/16" Trim Ribbon from the Spring Catalog gave the layout just the right touch!
