July Stamp Club Projects

Can I say that summer is just down-right busy! Well, I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one that thinks that. I didn't get projects for July stamp club posted last week before I left for a family reunion, so I'm posting them now.

This first card was cased from Carrie Sampsel. I loved the colors and design. The only big changes I made were the faux button made with the Sweet Buttons Embosslits die instead of a designer series button, and that I used a template to cut the pennant instead of using the Perfect Pennants die that Carrie used. However, I'm so going to have to buy the pennant die as I've seen far too many accents that used it on cards.

This second card is another case, this time from Krista Fenton. Again, it was such a great use of colors and design, that the only thing I changed was simplifying the layout a bit by no typing the Baker's Twine into bows at the beginning and end.

Finally, a card that I used inspiration from many cards, but came up with my own layout. The idea for the ice-cream cone was given by other demonstrators. Just too cute. The colors are So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Poppy Parade and Crumb Cake; all inspired from the Just Add Cake designer series paper that is used. The new 1/2" Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots ribbon gives a nice finishing touch. The only stamps used are the Pennant Parade and Happiest Birthday Wishes (a hostess only set). Punches used are: 2-1/2" Circle, Petite Pennants Builder & Cupcake Builder punches.

Just take a look!

I wanted to show you a few of the items that I purchased from the brand-new 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog. There are just so many wonderful products, and my wish list is long.

There just don't seem to be enough hours in the day for stamping.

There is a lot more flexibility with this new program. And, there are no longer level 1, 2, or 3 hostess sets, so you can choose from any of the items in the hostess categories. To see them, check out the new catalog. And, if you don't want to search electronically from the catalog, give me a call or send me an e-mail to see about getting your own copy.
